It’s wonderful to see your blog and the link to mine! Thank you so much. I’m really keen to continue discussion with you and see how our paths cross. You raise some really interesting factors in the pain experience that are directly influential in both the management of pain and our social construction of the ethics of pain management. Drop me a line if there’s anything you’d like to swap notes on. I’m currently enrolled in a PhD looking at non-treatment-seeking people with chronic pain, to see what they do to cope and carry out important activities in life, so I’m with you in the ‘pain’ of PhD study!!
